R&D: Ophthalmic Medical Devices
- Artemis 3
ArcScan, Inc. develops ArcScan, a very high frequency (VHF) digital arc scan ultrasound imaging technology for viewing the entire anterior segment of the eye in more detail, with more precision, and with better resolution than any other device on the market. Unlike other technologies, the device images and measures the corneal layers and the posterior chamber. The company's technology promises to become the new standard for digitally accurate images and analysis for the corneal area and anterior segment.
A Weill Cornell Medicine professor discovered the technology and serves on ArcScan's board of directors and medical advisory board. The company's foundational technology is licensed from Cornell University.
