Agronomic Technology Corporation
Agronomic Technology Corporation provides decision support software tools to help agricultural operations improve their economic and environmental performance. A decade of university research plus continuous, multi-regional, on-farm testing since 2011 has yielded more than $30/acre grower profit. Adapt-N achieves these results by combining four critical elements: advanced crop modeling, soils types, field management, and weather.
Agronomic Technology Corporation was acquired by Yara International ASA in November of 2017.
The company's foundational technology is licensed from Cornell University. The technology was developed by a Cornell professor from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. One of the cofounders is an alumnus of the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.
